Our logo is inspired by the naupaka flower, a powerful symbol of love, resilience, and connection in Hawaiian culture. According to legend, Princess Naupaka and her beloved Kaui were forbidden to be together, but their love endured. In an act of devotion, Naupaka split a flower in two—half for her and half for Kaui—representing their eternal bond, even in separation.

This story resonates deeply with us. The naupaka flower reminds us that love transcends boundaries and endures through all challenges, just as we strive to create moments and experiences that honor the connections that matter most.

Meet Alexis Huggins

Aloha! I’m Alexis, the owner and founder of Love Struck & Co. Born and raised in Georgia, I ventured to Maui for a summer internship back in 2016. You could say it was love at first sight because six months later I made the official move!

Throughout my time on the island, I went along to explore roles within the hospitality industry. When I finally landed in event planning, I knew I was where I belonged. My role focused specifically in full-service wedding planning, and what started as a job quickly became a true passion.

Now, through Love Struck & Co., I’m able to offer a more personalized approach, working closely with couples to create a day that truly reflects who they are. There’s something so special about seeing it all come together and knowing it’s exactly what they’ve envisioned.
